Nolan is One | Smash Cake Session | Wesley Chapel, FL

Nolan’s family moved into their home not too long ago, and it's a truly beautiful property with plenty of room for him to grow up and run around. We captured these photos on that property. They have a beautiful home surrounded by gorgeous wildlife. The greenery was bright and healthy, making for the perfect background for such a stunning family. Nolan wanted his mommy close but you can tell he is all about his dad. It will be so special to see the bond they have as he gets older.

A Focus on Family

Mom and dad wanted the session to focus on family, while having a rustic feel to it. Nolan was dressed in red and black flannel, which couldn’t be more adorable! He wasn't sure about my camera at first but, eventually warmed up. He had the cutest little chubby cheeks! To celebrate his birthday, we gave him a lumberjack cake that he got to dive into. He was all about it as he dug his hands in. This cake smash was definitely a success!

After taking family photos and single photos of Nolan, I was able to capture a few photos of just mom and dad. I think it’s important for new parents to spend some time focusing on each other. After all, having a baby around can definitely change your focus in a marriage. These two seemed so happy to be together with their baby boy. It was an honor to capture such special moments for them.
